Access to Liverpool’s Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) just got easier!

Access to Liverpool’s Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) just got easier!

Liverpool City Council, in partnership with the Ezytreev team, has launched a new Protected Tree Portal, giving residents quick access to vital tree protection information. Now, you can easily check the status of TPOs, review those issued by the Council, and explore the boundaries of Liverpool’s Conservation Areas.

This achievement comes from the successful digitisation of the Council’s TPO records, developed in collaboration with Ezytreev. The result? A user-friendly, centralised platform that brings all of Liverpool’s TPOs and Conservation Areas into one accessible place. It serves as a comprehensive hub for discovering all TPOs and Conservation Areas managed by the Council. With real-time data sourced from Ezytreev, you can easily access the Council’s TPO registers and other critical details.

A key feature of the portal is the interactive map search tool. This allows users to locate properties across the city and instantly view any applicable TPOs or Conservation Areas. With just a few clicks, you can gain valuable insights into the tree-related protections that apply to any location in Liverpool.

Moreover, TPO documents are now available for download as PDFs. Simply click on a tree on the map or select from a list of TPOs to get the documents you need.

We are happy to see how this new system is making it easier for the public, tree owners, and anyone interested in tree preservation to access crucial information, while also streamlining processes for the Council and the community!
